Conference postponed to 19th – 22nd April 2021 – Newsupdate

Update Monday 16th March 2020
Conference postponed to 19th – 22nd April 2021

Given the growing concerns around COVID-19 and a majority of countries announcing a range of restrictions from public gatherings to flight bans to closing borders, we have made the difficult decision to postpone AETAP’s 2020 conference in Budapest this year.

Although we share WHO Director-General’s belief  “The rule of the game is: never give up” we must acknowledge the affect the coronavirus has on us individually, our families and the general public. We feel responsible for both, our speakers and our conference participants and would feel terribly upset, if they experienced any destress due to attending our conference.

On a more positive note, we can already confirm, that the next AETAP conference will take place between 19th and 22nd April 2021. We are delighted to have secured the same venue in Budapest. Many thanks go to the Sofihotel who has been extremely communicative and helped us find the best possible outcome under somewhat confusing circumstances.

Lastly and most importantly, all paid conference tickets for this year will be reimbursed. We sincerely thank you all for your understanding and patience.

We look forward to welcoming you next year in Budapest.

Kind regards,
Andrea Wechlin & Karoline Roshdi
(AETAP President & AETAP Vice President)
