We are pleased to announce that our annual conference of the Association of European Threat Assessment Professionals (AETAP) will take place from April 13th to 16th, 2026, in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain. To all professionals active in the field of threat assessment and threat management: We welcome your abstract for presentations!
We aim to strike a balance between input from academia, law enforcement, and corporate practices. Abstracts will be selected on their applicability and usefulness to the European context. A wide range of themes is welcome, such as domestic violence, stalking, workplace violence, extremism, communicated (online) threat, linguistic analysis, effective threat management strategies, disclosing & sharing information, interdisciplinary work, moving research into practice, new tools and techniques, and case studies. Presenters of case studies are asked to share at least their lessons learned.
This call for abstracts closes at Friday October 3rd, 2025.
Please note one speaker per presentation will attend our conference for free, but all speakers have to cover their own transport and accommodation costs.
